Infertility is a huge part of my story; it’s the time I can point back to where God took a hold of my heart and really taught me about His character and true love for me (and my children). The Bible is not silent on the pain of infertility; actually quite the opposite. There are SEVERAL stories in the Bible of women facing the shame, pain, and identity crises involved in infertility. Many of those women were used directly in the lineage of Jesus. All of these stories were used by God to show Himself in huge ways. And in every single one, infertility was NEVER the end of the story.
